Working Student in Legal & Compliance (m/f/d) in Berlin

What are you going to do:
As a Working Student in our Legal & Compliance Department, you will help us to strengthen our Legal & Compliance Department working in an international environment supporting the business in Germany, Luxembourg, France, and Poland.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assist with a wide range of legal matters, with a focus on consumer law, IT law, data protection law, and insurance contract law
- Conduct legal research on upcoming new regulations, such as (but not limited to) the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and the Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act)
- Maintain and update our contract management and data protection management tools, ensuring timely monitoring of deadlines
- Contribute to the quality assurance of terms & conditions and other legal documents
- Handle complaints and ensure proper resolution

What we ask:
- Enrolled in a state-recognized university
- Currently enrolled in a German University or University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule), studying German Law (state examination, Bachelor's, or Master's), preferably in Semester 5 or higher
- Fluent in German and English, knowledge of French is a plus
- High social competence, hands-on mentality, solution-driven, and team player
- Ability to tackle and solve complex issues with the capacity to explain them clearly, both verbally and in writing
- Careful, independent, and pragmatic approach to work
